Wow!! Nicole Kidman stars in her second campaign shot by Camilla Akrans for legendary shoe brand Jimmy Choo. Obvious similarities have been made between 1960’s legendary French actress, singer and iconic model Brigitte Bardot and the swimsuit wearing, beehived Kidman who looks AMazing as usual!!

It was a while ago now but I still think it’s worth a post…..Florence & Fred at Tesco surly have a new creative team behind their recent adverts. Their summer campaign featured music the amazing Aluna George ‘You Know you Like It’ but it didn’t quite cut it, the music had no relevance to the advert; whereas with the Autumn campaign they got it spot on! Featuring one of the best songs of the year, Ben Pearce ‘What I Might Do’ Tesco have produced a pretty mint advert……the clothes don’t look too bad either!
Since her first starring role in the Gucci by Gucci fragrance campaign, I have been slightly obsessed with Danish model Freja Beha Erichsen!! From long to short hair, her look inspired designers and made her the iconic model of the last 5 years. However, recently, perhaps over the last 2-3 seasons, she seems to have disappeared from the limelight….that is until now!! Freja is back, and obviously being a lot more selective with her work. Savvy choices see her staring in the iconic new Saint Laurent and Prada campaigns and man, does she looks good….that girls still got it!!! Freja has reaffirmed her position as the definition of cool and she doesn’t need an Instagram account to prove it….move over Cara and let a pro show you how its done!!

For the last few season’s Dolce & Gabbana’s campaigns have been amongst my favourite! Shot by Domenico Dolce and featuring Bianca Balti, Monica Bellucci and Kate King as well as a new addition Andreea Diaconu, Italian family life is once again at the heart of the concept. AW13 explores Italian drama and scandal centred around the church and religion. The backdrop acts as a fitting location for the collection’s main pieces inspired by the catholic church’s traditional mosaic artwork alongside the timeless black and red Dolce lace. Standout pieces include the amazing gothic, oversized Dolce & Gabbana jewels that this season take the form of crucifixes, crowns and door knocker earrings! Drama, drama, drama……
Luella Bartley is back on the scene….for none other than Marc Jacobs himself! Luella will be taking on Marc Jacobs’s sister line Marc by Marc Jacobs!!! Along with her Friend Katie Hillier who is now the Creative Director, Luella will be heading up the brand as Design Director with Marc Jacobs taking a step back – but still overseeing all ideas. Hopefully Luella will bring her experience plus her kitsch attitude to put Marc by Marc Jacobs back in the spotlight! Watch this space….

I can’t get enough of the Acne collaboration with William Wegman for their SS13 campaign, as if the dogs weren’t cute enough?! My personal fave is the Borsalino Hats number….>>>
Possibly one of the easiest trends on the A/W12 catwalks was the good old fashioned sweatshirt! From 90’s ‘Saved by the Bell’ style at Kenzo to impressive sculptured pieces from Balenciaga; topped off by one of the most covertable items of the season – the Balmain embroidered sweatshirt, the optimum of understated chic. With pieces like this on offer, there should be no excuses this season….

Freja may not have graced the catwalk this season but she’s still leading the way, flirting with summer’s sickly sweet trend in Free People’s new lookbook…..Photographed by Joshua Allen, Freja embodies the chic, bohemian Free People identity with ease!
