Ruifier

Recently launched jewellery brand Ruifier is bringing a new aesthetic to the luxury market ‘technology and design together in an innovative harmony’ and I am in love!  Combining structured shapes and precious stones, Ruifier is chic yet understated; the ideal combination. Most pieces come in either Sterling Silver or 18ct gold plated vermeil, often featuring precious stones such as black diamonds and emeralds!  Each piece is as visually pleasing as the price tag……and if that wasn’t enough, Ruifier are currently running a competition on twitter to win my favourite piece; the Icon Ring as featured on vogue.co.uk in November’s #WeWantThis! Add Ruifier on twitter @Ruifier for your chance to win!

Alison Lou

Alison Lou – A name to remember.  I came across this new jewellery brand via Instagram and have been in love ever since!!  The wit and humour behind the first collection from designer Alison Chemia is a massive hit within the luxury fashion market.  I must admit upon researching to see where I could buy it ALL, I was shocked to find myself in the fine jewellery section looking at prices ranging from £260 for a single stud earring to £2,395 for an exquisite thin gold chain smiley face necklace.  The collection ‘is a thoughtful and cheeky commentary on the expression of feelings – from the banal to the intimate – through the language of emoticons’.  The gorgeously quirky jewellery will have to be in my dreams for a long time yet but if you are lucky enough to be able to get your hands on it, find it online at Matches (I personally recommend the goggly eyed rings) or just find out more information here, on the Alison Lou homepage!

Dolce & Gabbana AW13

For the last few season’s Dolce & Gabbana’s campaigns have been amongst my favourite!  Shot by Domenico Dolce and featuring Bianca Balti, Monica Bellucci and Kate King as well as a new addition Andreea Diaconu, Italian family life is once again at the heart of the concept.  AW13 explores Italian drama and scandal centred around the church and religion.  The backdrop acts as a fitting location for the collection’s main pieces inspired by the catholic church’s traditional mosaic artwork alongside the timeless black and red Dolce lace.  Standout pieces include the amazing gothic, oversized Dolce & Gabbana jewels that this season take the form of crucifixes, crowns and door knocker earrings!  Drama, drama, drama……
